Bernie Griffiths
Bernie Griffiths is well known as a wedding and portrait photographer having photographed over a thousand weddings in his long career. He is also well known as an educator having lectured with The Australian School of Wedding Photography for over eight years. He has taught hundreds of photographers around Australia and New Zealand how to improve their photography and increase their profit.

Bernie is the owner of two successful Wedding and portrait studios and has conducted many seminars around Australia and overseas. His new challenge is becoming the Director of Photography of the newly formed International Portrait and Wedding Academy based in Melbourne.

The Academy will be one of the most comprehensive wedding and portrait facilities anywhere in the world, catering for student photographers through to full time experienced professionals. His fun and non technical style of presentation combined with years of practical experience make him a presenter not to be missed.

Bernie believes that with the explosive impact that digital technology is having on the whole photographic industry, photographers who don’t participate in keeping up with these advances will get left behind. Film is dying. Darkrooms are dead. The art of digital capture has created a whole new marketplace just waiting for the more progressive photographers to take advantage of and reap the rewards.
